Reportedly, Finland-based stainless steel producer Outokumpu announced that it will raise base prices for stainless steel coils by €50/ton for all new orders delivered in the first quarter of 2014.The spokesman of Outokumpu said that the price rise will applied to all deliveries made to direct mills and service centers.Also, the spokesman stated that the company decided to raise prices as the continuously declining prices have led into an unsustainable market situation.
